year end version

To all the new fans, all 200+ of you, this is just a little post I made up a few years ago to keep readers updated on what I'm doing and what I will be doing. Originally it started out as a yearly thing, but I quickly realized that I write too much to keep it an annual thing. So now I do quarterly editions along with an end of the year one.

This, my dears, is the end of the year one. :) So, hold on tight and enjoy the ride!

The Imprinting Series

A lot of you are probably going, "wtf...?" right now. But that's okay. Let me explain...

The Imprinting Series is an umbrella name for a series of three fanfictions called Basic Imprinting, Intermediate Imprinting, and Advanced Imprinting. I'm close to completing Basic Imprinting and I'm proud to announce that its sequel, Intermediate Imprinting, will be making it's debut sometime in February!

I would also like to announce a second side story that is currently unnamed, but will feature the last of the imprinted couples (yes! there's still one more to be done!). What is this couple...? Well I can't tell you that. It's top secret! :) But I can clue you in on the fact that this will NOT be the last side story. There's still one more. But this one is SO top secret that only two whole people know about it! :) It's called *drum roll* Mating for Dummies and is somewhat of a side story/sequel since it takes place towards the end of Advanced Imprinting and continues on after it, but it's told in a different POV than The Imprinting Series.

I'm also planning on making an FST for Basic Imprinting...or at least a playlist...whatever...but, I just need to find a graphic maker who'd be willing to partner with me on the idea. *nodnod*

Also, I'm planning on making a graphics page for Basic Imprinting since I've gotten a lot of goodies from a few fans and want them to be seen by the story's fans.

Antietam

I've got HUGE plans for this one and wish I could give some sort of a projected total chapter count or completion date. But I cannot. I simply do not know since I'm writing this one as it comes (which seems to be in three to four chapter spurts).

As of right now I do not have any side stories planned, though I have mentioned at least two side couples in the story and have plans for at least one more. I might, however, write one-shots for these side couples in accordance with Antietam. I just don't know yet.

I will say, however, that I have the next three chapters planned out. I'll give you a basic backdrop of each. Chapter Four: Seth's reaction to Jasper and him dealing with the news. Chapter Five: Jasper deals with the knowledge that Seth is one of his students and we learn more about the Cullens and their connection to the Hales. Chapter Six: We head down to La Push to check in on Seth and co. We meet more of the guys and find out where in the hell Jacob was when Bella needed her truck fixed.

Another Side, Another Story

I wish I could say that I will have a more regular updating schedule for this one, but I'm afraid I can't say for sure. Truth is, well, I lost my passion for this story and Kingdom Hearts somewhere along the road. I will not, however, abandon this story. I just ask my fans to have a little patience. There will be an update in January and I will aim to have another before summer.

Parting Notes...

I don't know what 2010 has in store for me or my writing, but God knows I'm looking forward to bringing you guys more awesome fanfiction and watching my fics grow beyond what I thought was possible. Please, if any of you have any questions, concerning, or comments feel free to use this post to your advantage.

Also, friends of this journal please remember to claim your couple in my drabble request post. There's only twenty slots, so it's first come first serve. And for all you non friends, well...what are you waiting for, friend me!

Remember when I said that Basic Imprinting wouldn't be updated on Mondays anymore...well, that was before I decided to put Antietam and Basic Imprinting: Bittersweet on hold. Right now I'm hell bent on getting Basic Imprinting finished before Christmas (or the end of the year if that's not possible). What does that mean for you? More updates! How many more? I'm guessing between five and eight more chapters. So...that means that you'll be getting multiple updates some weeks and singles other weeks. But, all in all, it's a good deal for you guys. *nodnod*

BTW! All you people who haven't voted on my xmas poll, you need to do that NOW! Pole closes Dec. 5th!

I hate to have to do this, but it must be done in order to complete what I want to get done this month. Basic Imprinting: Bittersweet and Antietam are officially on hiatus until Basic Imprinting is finished. I'm aiming to have it completed by the end of this month along with a few other little chores I have for my journal and a couple of one-shots (and maybe a possible 200th friend drabble request post).

Well, I did have an update planned for you today, but that was before my sister deleted all of my fanfiction off of my jump drive. x.x

Basic Imprinting: Bittersweet is officially still being rewritten now and Basic Imprinting...well, hopefully that'll have a chapter up on Monday.

Normally these things are bigger, but this is a concentraited version to simply warn fans of Basic Imprinting that it will not be update this following Monday due to my desire to rewrite Basic Imprinting: Bittersweet.

Also, while I'm here, there's still one more request open. It's basically on a first come first serve basis. If you want it, it's yours. I'll be making another post with more details on the ten drabbles requested within a few days. :)

Welcome to yet another edition of Starry's Corner and welcome to my own little world for all of you new fans out there. For those who are curious, this is where I update everyone on my plans for my fanfiction. This is also a good place to voice any questions or concerns any of you may have.

As you've probably noticed by now it's nearing the end of September and those new multi-chaptered fics I had mentioned in the last edition just...didn't happen. There for, starting now, I'm going to stop mention future projects (except in my WiP post) because that seems to be a jinx.

I'm sure most of you are reading Basic Imprinting and eagerly awaiting tonight's/tomorrow's update. I have no impending news to announce about this fic, just that we're nearing the end. Exciting, isn't it? :) I'd like to point out that once I completely Basic Imprinting I'll be taking a break from the series to finish the next chapter to Another Side, Another Story, which is on hold until after the first of the year. I'm aiming to have Basic Imprinting done by Christmas.

Another Side, Another Story, on the other hand, I can't even begin to fathom the length of the fanfiction much less an approximate date that it'll be officially completed. Basically, any and all Kingdom Hearts works (both multi-chaptered and one-shot alike) are on hold until after the first of the year.

As for one-shots, Twilight one-shot that is, I hope to have a new one posted every two weeks or so. Of course, it all depends on whether or not there's a lemon in it. As it stands, I have two more planned for The Stars Align series and another jakeward coming up.

Also, I've been toying with the idea of writing an Essay concerning the female's obsession with Team Edward and Team Jacob, or in my case Team EdwardJacob. This, though, is still in the planning and research stages. So, expect some poles and opinion posts soon on this subject.

I'd also like to use this time to welcome all the new fans that have friended my journal and to thank all of the fans that have been reading and commenting on Basic Imprinting. When I started this fanfiction I had never thought it'd be quite as popular as it turned out. But, I am pleased with its reception and look forward to posting more chapters and getting to the two sequels and possible side stories.

Welcome to another edition of Starry's Corner! In this edition we'll be diving into the projects I have planned for the summer months.

As you all may have noticed I have since updated Another Side, Another Story and it was HUGE. I'm still recovering after that massive chapter, but I am aiming for the fourth part to be posted by the end of June.

I've also planned another multi-chaptered fic to be started sometime in June, one that I'll be calling The Bachelor and yes, it's exactly what it sounds like. A RikuSora fanfiction based off of the television show The Bachelor. Where this idea came from...well, I was thinking one day...you can't really help who you fall in love with so what would happen if the bachelor fell in love with someone who wasn't competing for his love? Like, let's say...one of the techs?

In addition to that I also have some new one-shots planned; Five Star; a RoxasSora one-shot taking place in a restaurant and Three Little Words; a new RikuSora one-shot series that'll be following our boys from crush to true love.

Everything mentioned above is also listed on my To-Do List! So, everyone hold tight and enjoy the upcoming months of fanfiction from yours truly!

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I know I've said this little update was going to be a yearly thing. But, come on, you readers can't be satisfied with that. And, I'm sure each and every one of you are wondering what in the hell happened to me (and the updates) over the past few months. Well guys, a little something called life caught up with me. Then, it preceded to beat me with a lead filled baseball bat. Not a pretty sight. But, after my laptop crashing, me getting sick, and the internet failing on me; I've finally returned!

No, not with fanfiction updates! Those are still giving me trouble. But, I'm getting there! I'm getting there!

Speaking of fanfiction, I'm sure all you fans want to know what's up with your favorite story and why in hell I haven't updated it in forever and a day. Well, stay tuned!

Another year is coming to a close. A year in which fanfiction was ended and new projects were started. Friends were made and friends were lost. It was a year of heart aches, new beginnings, and most importantly (for this journal anyway) wonderful fanfiction and fans.

This year I decided to do a little something new for my fans. I decided to write an annual newsletter to let all you amazing fans know what to expect in the upcoming year.

As you all know, in August (or September, don't remember which) I posted the epic first chapter of Another Side, Another Story and due to it's outrageous reception I've decided to extend the original one-shot to a full multi-chaptered fic. Due to the projected length of the chapters, I cannot give an accurate update schedule but, I'm assuming I'll have an update every three to four months starting with the second chapter being posted some time in January.

Also, I've decided to start rewriting Our Blessing for a second time which is currently under way. No new updates will be written until I am complete with the rewriting process which is moving along slower than I expected.

Now, moving into upcoming projects that will be started in the 2009 year. I am looking forward to starting a Kingdom Hearts fanfiction based off of the fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast with Riku and Sora as the main couple. This story is currently untitled and still being rped.

I am also going to start concentrating more on Roxas and Sora in attempts to make a name for myself at fanfiction.net (Another Side, Another Story is helping work towards that goal) and the 2009 year will be marked with several new RoxasSora fanfictions including, but not limited to a fanfiction I'm calling Just So You Know (yes, that would be based off of the Jesse McCartney song baring the same name) and a twincest piece that'll be my version of Romeo and Juliet.

For the ship of RikuSora, I'm planning a project called The Games People Play which will also feature RoxasSora, but the ending couple is still unknown at this point.

And, lastly for the Kingdom Hearts fandom, I'll be writing a series of fanfiction (total number unknown as of this moment) for the new rp I play in called tltw_university. The couples featured will be, but not limited to because these people switch partners more than I change clothes; CloudReno, DemyxRiku, possible threesome between CloudRenoRiku, CloudDemyx, AxelSora, and any other couples that happen to pop up.

I am also looking forward to branching out into new fandoms, one of them being Naruto where I've already got a fanfiction planned out for NejiHinata set to debut later in the year.

And, in the mean time, I'm hoping to redo my fanfiction journal. Maybe make it a little easier to look through a navigate. Perhaps even find a new layout...somewhere. Lol.
